- PS on a LG washer means: Power supply problem.
- The same fault appears as P5 on other LG models. The code changed between generations; the fault did not. A search that turns up nothing under one spelling will usually turn up plenty under another.
- Across brands this is the same fault as Samsung 9C1, Whirlpool PF. No manufacturer publishes that mapping, because each one documents only its own codes — but the underlying failure and the order you check things in are identical.
